CARL H (NORTHERN PURPOSE)

Carl H is one half of DJ duo Northern Purpose together with Brendan Clark. He first took to the decks at the youthful age of 15; fast forward 13 years and he still chooses to use this tried and tested method of record and turntable. His residency at Northern Purpose has enabled him to play along side some of his idols including Mike Huckaby, Rick Wade, Specter, Dubbyman and Jane Fitz. All have had a hand in shaping the sound Carl has become loyal to. Since the birth of Northern Purpose Carl has also become resident at the Grelle Forelle in Vienna.
Carl H on his mix: One-take vinyl only mixing is one certainly one for the dance floor. I decided I would like to showcase what you may experience if you came to a Northern Purpose event. I also tried to squeeze in all the records that evoked a great reaction whilst we played at our most recent festival - Meadows in the Mountains. Here our set lasted around 8 hours, hence the title! I hope you enjoy it. Oh and keep an eye out for our next event at the end of September.
